Unforgettable trip

from the image itself there wouldn't be any doubt that this post is about Mumbai/India...

but i wouldn't be writing what Mumbai is all about and how it is the financial and commercial  center of India with the highest GDP.

i would rather describe about my first impression of the famous metropolitan and my little experience.. i only heard that Mumbai is a city that never sleeps and people are so engrossed in their fast pace life that its difficult for others who prefer a normal routine to survive in the city.

the fast pace modern life where everyone is in a hurry minding their own business can be seen even if you stand in one station of the city for few minutes.. i saw this while standing in Church gate station for a while , it almost looked like if i don't stand in the sideline i would get lost in the follow and reach another station or destination even against my will ... now that would pretty much give a rough idea of the rush ...

i wanted to see gateway of India and was actually surprised they do security screening before letting anyone near the monument, something entirely alien to me coming from a small place that has no security checks except at airport. but places like mumbai where every one's life is threatened by few extremists whose sole aim is destroying whatever harmony we have today, its hard to stand there and analyse how life would be like.

cant deny that i expected something extra ordinary as gateway of India and dint quite meet my expectation .. but the surrounding atmosphere, the liveliness, the close by views were indeed breathtaking and worth beholding.

went around the city wherever possible (with my limited time), tried local food and stood at places percieving the surroundings...

Mumbai is something different altogether and yeah it does meet the hype created around it... i loved my visit and i actually had three tea in a row from a small local shop(never had such great quality tea anywhere else)

a rainy night

a car ride in a colorful rainy night with the roads illuminating different shades of light, along with people rushing in with vivid colors of umbrellas is indeed a breathtaking sight to behold.

the rush of life, the crowd that looks for shelter, the crowd that are taking a slow walk under the shade of their umbrellas, the crowd that rushes outside to get closer to nature , reflections from the lights as well as from the tarmac roads makes you forget the chaos in your life for a while and enjoy whats in front of you..

the scenario though beautiful makes us ponder how much far away we are from nature and our loss in the daily rushed life...

do we see droplets of water as a curse or see it as beautiful??
do we see rain as a hindrance to our normal life or as a blessing of nature?

the unknown road

Somewhere around the way i have lost being a good person
The question is would i ever be a good person , do i have the courage to become good again..

The destination ahead is clear, the roads look tough and illusionary ..
When would i have the courage to walk on the rough path and make the illusionary roads into reality..

I have none to blame.. if someone points out the bad things i do in my life i have no right to hold a grudge against that person... in fact am glad they had the courage to say it on my face..

And thankful to every person who has touched my life in some way or the other..

I could never live up to their expectations or even could meet them half way .. that's  another story altogether..

In spite of everything  i don't regret any actions of mine.. its that am bad in others eyes.. i wish one day they understand me :D
